Because I am away I have decided to post some old or CLASSIC episodes of the podcast to keep you all interested, hopefully….

This podcast first went live 22nd February 2010 and has all the classic features. I won’t spoil the surprises but I will post the original notes below. Please remember that this is over two years old and some of the information, websites etc, do not exist and/or may have changed. ENJOY

In another packed podcast I played music by the fantastic Hot Vamp Club, the amazing King Never, the unique Tom Caulfield, Matt Steven’s Burning Banstands track was remixed by the brilliant LEXTRICAL and he went on to talk about blogs and cited The Hype Machine as the place to go to . I played a track from my free album Moving On.
Apoc loved Soundcloud for all the wrong reasons. I played Everyone Want’s To Fall In Love by the beautiful Sweet Tooth, I was blown away by the talented Joe Wellfair and urged you to make a comment about the stunning track by The Real Raj. The very entertaining Jason Nembhard won the First Fifteen with a breathtaking 3 votes. Not sure if this first fifteen lark is worth the effort, what do you think?

In this weeks podcast I played Mike Rofe, Pseudo, Paul Liddel (who I DID play last month on the first fifteen), Steve Moyes with a track he wrote and performed especially for this podcast, Watch With Mothers reviewed Matthew Neel, Menn Arsins and Tim Farrell. I also played a hidden track from my new album Don’t Make Me Wait.
Apoc hated last Fm, I chatted to the great Xan Phillips and I played the complete track from last weeks winner of the First Fifteen Liz Longley.

A bit later than usual due to the fact that I have been stuck to my mac for most of the week and didn’t get started until late.

This week you are lucky enough to hear Tim Farrell, Scot Turchin, Fernwood, The Wilton Project, Matt Stevens and a track featuring my old band People.

Watch With Mothers Swineshead and Napoleon reviewed songs by Ruby on the Vine, Crimson Face and Fleeting silence.

Matt Stevens was missing in action leavinmg me to do a mini rant on how musicians who don’t think they’r egood enough and that everyone is better than The Sugar Babes!

I announced, prematurely, that Kevy Nova had won the First Fifteen when in actual fact Tracy Shaun had won due to a late surge. To make amends, I will play Tracy’s track in full next week.

Not sure how I finished it in time but I did, just!

This week I bought you (in no particular order) Menn Arsens, Amaya Huntley, Kidd Russell, Tom Bishel, Jouis and ME!
A very funny new song review feature with Swineshead and Napoleon from Watch With Mothers (click their button on the right) a hastily edited chat with Matt Stevens about the delights of Soundcloud and Dropbox and an invitation for you to come up with a decent First Fifteen jungle the winner this week (or is it last week?) being the great Matt Taylor whose track “Fat Tuesdays Blue” I played in full at the end of the cast.

A little later than planned due to technical reasons, no really!
