A lovely mixture of music and interviews this week. I interviewed Cut Corners as well as Sean McGowan at their “Sound of the C” gig at The Brook in Southampton this week and played tracks from both of them. I missed interviewing Til Dusk but played a great track from them anyway. Other tracks included Australia’s own Clean Marlin who are playing at The Annandale Hotel in Annandale Sydney at 9.15 this coming Thursday, Sarah Saville ~ Transparent, Owen Hackett ~ Gregs Riff, Indigo Earth ~ Cold Light of Day, Schnauser ~ Cosmic Ordering Service, The Travis Waltons ~ Millionaire and I finished off with a reworked version of Jackie Who now called Jackie Who TWO.

Paul Lane from Unplug the Jukebox came along and spoke about Charley Macaulay’s new album and Dave Miles from A Cup of Tea and a Slice of cake spoke about The Zen Hussies.

In a very music heavy podcast this week I played a greedy 15 tracks including The Wilton Project, Psychotic (Hello Syd), Belizer, The Visitors, my brother’s band Clean Marlin (he plays bass), Crisifus, Vega – Ascention, Lisa Hogan , Psuedo, April Maybe May , Steve Moyes, Carvalho, Menn Arsins, my track I just can’t get happy which you can get for free and last but by no means least Matt Stevens. I’m compere and playing at Pure Acoustica’s Afternoon Tea at The Hobbit in Southampton this Saturday between 3 and 6.30.

Oh and the blog that was so good that I forgot what it was about was https://geetarchurchy.wordpress.com/ It’s a great blog and an absolute must for any artists looking to promote themselves as well as some usefull insights into the whole social media marketing malarky.
