Yes, that’s what it looks like!

A slightly drunk podcast this week, well it is summer and all!

Played some great tunes including The Travis Waltons ~ Millionaire, Good King Friday ~ A Simple Choice, Jason Parker Quartet ~Mance’s Dance, Lewis MacLean ~ A Better Place, April Maybe May ` Sugar & Mess, King Never ~ Sorrow, The Spiraltones & a track by good old me I’m Gonna Break Your Heart.

Paul Lane from Unplug the Jukebox gave tongue to The Queue and also his opinion on last weeks podcast.

I’d say, all in all a blooming good show.

This week I am joined by America’s best export Justin Wayne from The Justin Wayne Show with random comments from Izzy and what fun we had.

I played Kidd Russell’s new single Backyard Heroes, Ruins by Pineross, Glen Laughlin’s Valentines Day, the astounding Teenage Eyes from old friends and all round good guys Ex Libras, Fez and Lowlight and the fabulously handsome April Maybe May and Sugar & Mess and Haunted Stereo Can You See My Side in a plea to find out if anyone has seen Anja?

I wasn’t going to play Ben Sommer’s Adult Babies but I did. You’ll have to listen to see why.

It appears that the Markers Mark did the trick this week as I whizzed through the podcast at record speed!

I started off with and old favourite Diana by The Wilton Project, then a most beautiful tune by April Maybe May called Sugar & Mess and then Alibi by Planes Over Paris. Then came my interview with the delightful Anja McClosky who told me all about her imminent tour of America next month. If you’re about try and catch her to say hi.

I also played Anja’s amazing tunes Stephanie IV. Pam Shaffer’s track Henry followed this then a word or two from that nice Paul Lane from Unplug the Jukebox. Steve Lowis’s Rescue and newly named Alligator Indian and their top track Prospect Park.

I finished off with a track I recorded on my honeymoon in 2006, lets just call it Slide.

A bit early this week due to other media commitments!

Full of quality music as ever I played the beautiful April Maybe May, the nutty Clare Barker ( I think!), the very cool Sonny, the proggy Triangle exception, the drawly Tracy Shaun, the eclectic FledderJohn, the too cool for school Hot Vamp Club, the very talented Menn Arsins, the peace man Kidd Russell, the sublime Planes Over Paris and me, good old Nick!

Many shout outs to my Twitter followers, a sting from Haunted Stereo (deff a giggle there) and general podcasting malarky.

I still haven’t had an answer to my Jack Daniels black question!

In a very music heavy podcast this week I played a greedy 15 tracks including The Wilton Project, Psychotic (Hello Syd), Belizer, The Visitors, my brother’s band Clean Marlin (he plays bass), Crisifus, Vega – Ascention, Lisa Hogan , Psuedo, April Maybe May , Steve Moyes, Carvalho, Menn Arsins, my track I just can’t get happy which you can get for free and last but by no means least Matt Stevens. I’m compere and playing at Pure Acoustica’s Afternoon Tea at The Hobbit in Southampton this Saturday between 3 and 6.30.

Oh and the blog that was so good that I forgot what it was about was https://geetarchurchy.wordpress.com/ It’s a great blog and an absolute must for any artists looking to promote themselves as well as some usefull insights into the whole social media marketing malarky.
