Is This Thing On Podcast

Hello Is This Thing On Podcast fans! It’s your old pal James, I’m back for ehnother great episode, this week in episode 194 I play a little bit more music than last week and talk a little less, well until the end that is.  Nick should be back next week telling you all about his tour with COAST! Where he probably froze his nuts off, in some wasteland that isn’t Canada. I have a great show all lined up for you, lets just say We Steal Flyers, Sports Fan, Sand River, Steel Island, Burning Shapes, Dead Wax, Donots, Clockwise, Liz Longley, The Wilton Project and of course our very own Nick Tann make the cuts this week to a great lineup. What I did was tell you why I liked each song and I also issued a challenge to any potential podcast artists out there! It can be you! You can follow me on twitter @TheRealApo @Ehnotherpodcast you can email me at ehnotherpodcast@gmail.com and you can also find me at Ehnotherpodcast.com. Once again Nick thanks for letting me host! It was fun and until next time, if the need arises, I can be here filling up your ear holes with music magic!

Another buffet from which you, dear listener, can pick and fill your plate from.

In no specific order I play Oresteia ~ Helen, The Robbie Boyd Band ~ I Won’t Let You Go, Caroline’s Capuchin ~ Robot Song AND Precipice, SandRiver ~ A Letter (To the loves of Emma), Jonnie Murpie ~ Open Up, The Cherry BlueStorms ~ Fear of Gravity (alt version), Don’t Make Me Wait from my Vinyl Project and an interview with that nice Rob Batley from the band Stone Pony where we talked about his new e and I played a a track Lonely for Some Honesty from it.

All just a bit marvelous eh?

Yes, that’s what it looks like!

A slightly drunk podcast this week, well it is summer and all!

Played some great tunes including The Travis Waltons ~ Millionaire, Good King Friday ~ A Simple Choice, Jason Parker Quartet ~Mance’s Dance, Lewis MacLean ~ A Better Place, April Maybe May ` Sugar & Mess, King Never ~ Sorrow, The Spiraltones  & a track by good old me I’m Gonna Break Your Heart.

Paul Lane from Unplug the Jukebox gave tongue to The Queue and also his opinion on last weeks podcast.

I’d say, all in all a blooming good show.
