Indeed I can…

Still away on holiday I carry on in a similar vein from last weeks episode.

I play a new tune from Coloured Lines ~ Love Lost Light pt2, then some older tracks from Haunted Stereo ~ Cant You See My Side, Late Riser ~ Dick Logic, May KB ~ Conquer, King Never ~ Kitchen Sink Drama, Salme Dahistrom ` C’mon Y’all, Wax Ersatz ~ Make A Man Out Of Me, We Sell Seashells ~ Bad Monkey, Tom Caulfield ~ Good You Got Away, Kidd Russell ~ East North East Avenue, Ex Libras ~ Teenage Eyes and an old track by my old band People.

I chucked in another Watch With Mothers review thing just for kicks.

Normal service will be resumed next week…..probably.

And what a podcast it is.

I play a great track from Flearoy ~ Tiger Lilly, A track from the new album by Georgian megastars Belizer ~ Autumn and a great new track from Wax Ersatz ~ Out In The Cold.

There then follows a great interview with the talented and groovey Cherry Bluestorms Glen Laughlan (not Craig Mclachlan, idiot!) and Deborah Gee where they tell me about their new album, playing in America and their parrot Winston. Finishing off with playing a new track from their as yet unfinished album Bad Penny Opera.

As a pallet cleanser I then played a lovely tune by Ernesto Shnack ~Build followed by Doyle and the Forefathers ~When Will The Children Learn.

I ended with a comedy tune that I produced for the Hot Potatoes Comedy Podcast ~ Inflammatory Bowel Disease, lovely.

This is the first podcast that is totally hosted and fed by this website. It’s a farewell to podbean an the old website and hello to all you wonderful new folks as well as a welcome back to all the faithful folk who have followed me so far.

A nice chilled out start to this weeks podcast with the beautiful Late Riser, followed by the equally beautiful These Fine Galleons. Matt from King Never makes everyone feel beautiful buy that tune here The Hostages may think they are beautiful but they’re not a patch on Salme Dahlstrom who is quite gorgeous and you can buy her track here WaxEsatz are from up north so anything is possible. May KB makes beautiful music so therefore must be beautiful. Paul Lane from Unplug The Jukebox isn’t as beautiful as he thinks……..or is he?

I encouraged everyone to go out and find their own X Factor out in their town unless you want to watch people who think they can sing but can’t. There are loads of musicians doing plying their trade so forget the mediocre rubbish on the tv and get out and enjoy yourself.

In a podcast that thumbs it’s nose and sticks two fingers up at the music industry I played the brilliant Tim Farrell from America, the fabulous Occasional Orchestra from England, the amazing Lite from Japan, the sublime Wax Ersatz from England, an interview from the very handsome Gideons Demise (and a tune), the stunning Mohatra from Bosnia Herzegovina, Sand river from England and a little thing I knocked up earlier an instrumental of a song I wrote a few years ago.

A bit proggy in places and there’s nothing wrong with that!
